Smaller than a bug. Bigger than a breakthrough.
mCLARI
Meet mCLARI (mini Compliant Legged Articulated Robot Insect)—a micro-robot that moves with the precision of nature and the power of cutting-edge tech. As a research assistant at the Animal Inspired Movement and Robotics Lab at CU Boulder I programmed the firmware that drives mCLARI, literally. A closed-loop control system lets mCLARI adapt and navigate dynamically on its own, or you can take the reins with a remote control programmed by yours truly. Power constraints and material limits make every detail critical in this bio-inspired robot. mCLARI isn’t just the science of robotics—it’s the art of making the miniature remarkable.
